Little Nonya

For the past month, almost the whole female species in singapore are stick to the TV every evening from 9pm. Myself included.
Yes. The Nonya fever.
On the first episode itself, it already broke viewers record for the whole 2008.
So for the whole month, I had already inform my Mi that I want to be home before 9pm everyday to watch Nonya. I only missed once, the 5th episode I think. It was Mi’s birthday and we went out late.
I guess woman just love such sad, pathetic, political plots. Sad that for 3 generations of Yueniang, they were bullied and treated worse than dogs. Political, seeing how family, relatives scheming and plotting against each other.
Some scenes so sad, it must have made so many cried. But surprisingly, myself did not manage to cry any single time. I guess it was still not so sad to make me cry.
I like most is Juxiang’s husband. He’s so gorgeous, the dream guy of so many gals.
Best was Monday night, when they will show it for 2 hrs. You just wish they can carry it on till the last episode.
Saw the clip of the ‘meet the fans session’ at causeway point I think. OMG, there was so much people, there’s hardly any space to walk I think.
After a month, the fever finally came to an end last night. The evil finally gets what they deserve, Yueniang finally became the richest and the saviour to the evil ones even.
Once again, I can go out with Mi on every Tues and Thurs night again.
On the other hand, I am also chasing the korean show on channel U at 10pm, “Yi Zhi Mei”.
It’s actually quite nice also, again with handsome guys, with almost the same plot as Nonya, I harm you, you harm me, I revenge you revenge.
So I shall see, if really nowhere to go, then will just rush home by 10pm to watch it. Anyway, my Sasa will be so waiting for me at home if i go too late.
