Beware of Car Theft Newest Technology!
By Ms Chor Lor | April 9, 2009 | 61 views
From today’s paper :
Looks like there is a very new and advance technology used by car thefts lately. Many such cases have been reported in Malaysia.
A witness gave her account of one such theft :
I was just driving home after fetching my kids. When our car was driving into the garage, I saw these two guys on a motorcycle coming near. Then one of them came towards my car, took something which looks like a gum from his mouth, stick it onto my car window and the window just cracked into pieces just like that. He then snatched my handbag from the car and ran off.
Yes, this new technology seems like a kind of gum that when stick onto the car window, will cause it to crack into pieces without much effort within seconds.
Experts said they do not know of or heard of such a thing yet that can so miraculously break a glass. No one knows exactly what it is.
What could it be then? Since it is in Malaysia, it won’t be long before it may just make its way to Singapore.
It was reported the window break pattern is very neat, it will crack in a “spider web” pattern.
So be careful when someone suspicious stick something onto your car.
