I actually did read about this story last month. It was about this Malaysian father’s son who died after his speedboat crashed with our Spore Police Patrol speedboat.

He then created a chaos, saying his son had merely went fishing on his boat and why suddenly just die like that. He even so innocently asked the Government to investigate into his son’s death. At that point, not much details yet, so anyone would probably felt pity for this old man who had lost his son.

Then after a while, there was a reply from the Spore Police side saying, his son was seen dropping off some people, and under suspicion of human trafficking, the police patrol boats gave chase, and somehow an accident occur and the boats crash, the son died.

If I did not remember wrong, he still insisted at that time, his son really was fishing and did not commit any crime.

Yet now, he is finally being arrested instead as he was the migrant ring leader behind everything.

Can’t imagine he still dare to accuse others first haha, maybe he’s trying to avoid suspicion by doing so, but he had failed…
