    A Transgender Story Chapter 30

    By Ms Chor Lor | January 2, 2010 | 940 views

    In our previous chapter…………..

In an wink of an eye, it has been one year since I live at International Plaza.

Good life never last. Due to the bad economy, the bookshop I worked at is closing down because of poor business. And the company the two Aust work at also is closing down. So they will be returning to Australia soon. Which means no more International Plaza for us to stay………….

But I was already so enjoying staying out that I really don’t wish to move back home. So I decided to look for another place to stay. I found a two room flat at Telok Blangah. It got a room. I rented the whole place at $600 per month. Lucky I had some savings that time to pay for all the deposit and rent.

At the same time, I also found a new job as a hawker stall assistant in Bedok selling Japanese food. Though it’s so far away, but lucky there is a direct bus just right under my block.

Anyway, the whole house was very empty and unfurnish condition. The owner is a 40plus single guy I think. After getting the place, I was looking that I may just be staying here for at least a year.

The floor itself was in its original cement condition. So I bought some of those floor plastics to lay the whole place. I got some furniture from IKEA, including a coffee table, a wardrobe. TV, fridge and washing machine is provided. Finally did up the place nicely and comfortably for a single person with the help of some of my gay friends.

Invited them over to help out, then have dinner and they played mahjong over at my place. This place is actually quite windy cause it is quite near to the sea. Sometimes it is so windy and cold, you don’t even need the fan or air con.

I got the hawker job through another gay friend who is already working there. I started learning all the ropes and soon I got the hold of it. I have to cook and prepare the ingredients in the afternoon. The peak period is lunch time and dinner time. So noon time is quite free.

I also don’t know if all the the uncle and aunties know I am trans or not as they never ask and we never talk about it.

I worked from 10am to 10pm. By the time I reached home, it will be 11pm plus. I would have a bath, then go into IRC to know people and sleep around 2 or 3 am. That’s my routine for that time.

Sometimes, it really feels lonely in such quiet hours in the middle of the night. Sometimes I would cry myself to sleep. Cause how I just wish I can have someone by my side, who loves me and whom I love.

That was when I got my first dog, galgal. The dog before I had my present Sasa. She was about 2 years when I got her back. I bought her from a breeding farm. I had actually went there for an ad of a mini pinscher instead. But I fell in love with galgal when I first see her. She was so cute and running all around. They told me that they had use her for breeding, but don’t know why she just can’t give birth anymore. Which is why they willing to let me have her.

But she was so dirty and smelly all over. I can’t imagine the condition she had stayed in. The whole place is a dog breeding farm, smelly and muddy. They then told me that she had a skin condition too. That she will have rashes and that need to apply powder.

When I took her home, I bathed her for 2 or 3 times before she was clean and smell nice again.

After some time, she got use to me. After all, there is only her and me in the whole house. Every night I come home from work, she will receive me at the door with her wagging tail. She will follow me wherever I go in the whole house. She will wait for me outside the bathroom when I bath. She will follow me into the room and sleep beside me at night.

Sometimes, when I feel lonely and cry, I will talk to her.

I had her all the way till 2008. She was with me for about 9 years. Think she should be about 11 years old. Through the years, there was not much problem with her skin actually. All her problems only came in 2008, her last year. She will have leg pain where she can’t walk at all. Her skin start to drop hair and rot, became watery and red. Once for a whole night, she kept diarrhea don’t know for what reason. I also did not sleep for that whole night, because she really shit for the whole night, I got to keep waking up and clean up. We also laid the newspaper everywhere in the whole house.

Then once, she had some sort of constipation. Her shit was so hard an dry, it got stuck in her butt when she shit it. Ended up, one piece of shit was stuck halfway in her ass. It can neither go back in or come out. Until her whole ass became swollen. And she kept trying to squeeze it out too.

We finally decide to put her to sleep in 2008, due to her worsening skin condition. Guess she is too old and weak already. I guess it had probably been a good thing I brought her back that she at least have a better life with me than being at that dirty farm. She may not have been alive for so long even since she is of no use to the breeders anymore. She would still have been so dirty and smelly. Hope you will have a better life in your next life galgal.

Anyway, during those days, we really had each other for company. And life staying out really feels good. Away from the crazy home, where i hate to see that father and brother of mine.

And everyday on IRC, I just hope to meet some nice guys and find a BF.

One day, I finally found him……….
