Australian Group calls for gender option for transgenders in Facebook

An Australian Group are calling for that Facebook users who are transgenders should be given the option of their gender. That having only male and female is too narrow.
While there were some who commented that they would rather be known as the gender they transit to, why would they want to chose the option of transgender.
Hmmm I think it’s not a bad idea. Though most trans preferred to be known as a woman, but then there are also the minority who would rather chose to be known as a transgender, cause it makes them feel different and special. I won’t mind chosing transgender if there really is such an option.
