    Australia made History! First to recognise “non specified” gender

    The New South Wales government in Australia has made history just this week by being the First in the World, to recognise “non-specified” gender on a person’s documents! Which means other than putting a F or a M, they can now chose to put their gender as “non-specified”. But in a harsh word, the non-specified gender actually means neither male nor female.

    Norrie was one of those happy with this new gender. She went through hormones and surgery at the age of 23 and was legally recognised as a female. But she did not feel comfortable living solely as a female. She identify herself as neither male nor female. She does not want to be identified as any of these two genders. So she is happy now that she can identify herself as non-specified.
