SgButterfly Celebrating it’s 5th Birthday !!!

What is SgButterfly?
SgButterfly.org, better known as SgB, is an online portal founded on the 5th Oct 2005, designed and dedicated for Singapore’s Transgender Community as a platform in providing goodwill information and raising awareness on the Transgendered in Singapore.
This space serve as a proper channel for all to discuss issues and voice opinions that help contributes to a better understanding of the Transgendered group.
SgB hopes to promote awareness of this growing community by reaching out to the general public in order to gain understanding. By working hand in hand with other GLBT communities, and local & international groups and their related sites, SgB’s forum actively exchange ideas and provides relevant information that yields different opinions which reflects the voices and lifestyle of Singapore’s Transgender Community from all walks of life.
With this commitment, SgB also aims to reach out to the new generation of individuals and look into their ways of living, adapting and adjusting to the modern social and working lifestyle in Singapore.
What event is this?
It’s SgB’s 5th Anniversary Celebration !
When is it?
2 October 2010, 7pm
Where is it?
It’s at a bungalow chalet in the East side. Details will be revealed to registered guests only.
Who can attend?
Anyone who is GLBT. Even if you are not GLBT, but is a regular loyal reader of my Mschorlor.com, you are also invited! Provided that you are comfortable enough to hang around with us for a night of party! But your registration will be subject to approval and acceptance. So not all who register can definitely come.
Can I bring along my boyfriend/ friend etc?
Please state the number of pax that you are bringing when you register, and make the total payment during payment.
How do I attend this event?
Just register through the official Registration Form here.
How much do I have to pay?
Early Bird Promotion : $15 per pax for registration and payment before 15th September.
Thereafter, it will be $20 per pax.
How do I pay?
Payment will be by ATM Transfer and Internet Banking POSB or DBS only.
How do I know if I have been confirm?
For those who registered, you will receive a email regarding payment once your registration is accepted. Make your payment within the date specified.
Note that only those who had made payment are confirm attendance. Those who do not make payment before the date specified, your registration will be ignored and deleted.
When is the closing date?
Closing date for all registration is 26th September Sunday.
What can I expect for coming?
If you are expecting a group orgy, or hooking up some trans on that night, THEN YOU CAN FORGET IT! You can go to Changi Village instead and contirbute to their economy!
It will be a healthy and pure clean night of event, with food, drinks, lucky draw and a cabaret show. And of course networking around, making new friends, looking into the life of people like us, that we are just like any normal human beings coming together to celebrate and party, and not some colony of aliens, meeting up to plot about how to invade Earth.
What is the program for the night?
Tentatively :
6pm : BBQ starts
7pm : Cabaret Show
8pm : Lucky Draw (To be confirm)
830pm : Winner for Best Dress Contest (To be confirm)
9pm : Rest & Relax, Networking

Any things to take note of?
1. No one is allowed to bring along anyone who is not officially registered and make payment. Your guest will be rejected at the door.
2. No photography and videoing is allowed at all times. We will have ‘bouncers’ keeping an eye. You shall be chase out if you break this rule, sorry to say.
3. No refund for payments if you do not turn up or can’t make it, as the payment would have gone into ordering food and lucky draws.
Why the rules so jia lat one?
Because not everyone who is present are comfortable or willing to be photograph or video.

If you are asking this, then THIS POST IS NOT INTENDED FOR YOU AT ALL! Well, I’m specially extending the invitation especially to my regular loyal readers, who may be brave enough, to venture into a whole new world, looking from a different perspective, a group of people that is leading a life just like you do. We are not different.

Yes, for my loyal readers, you will get to meet the auntie in person on this day. I am doing the cabaret show myself along with my friends. And this whole event is being organised and planned by me.
Which explains why you must be wondering why am I not posting at all recently. As right now, I am busy preparing and organising for this event, coordinating all the programs, planning, rehearsing and practicing for the show etc etc. I’m probably even sewing our own sequin costumes.
So do bear with me for this month ok! My stories and posts will be back once I am done with this event, after 2 Oct.
