Who is Ms Chor Lor ?

She’s a man. He’s a woman. MCL is a typical Singaporean Transgender, blogging just like everyone else, about her everyday life, thoughts about life and most important, the life being a transgender.

What is your real name ?

My real name is so common, if I say it out, probably lots of people will know who I am liao, and they might not even know I’m a trans leh? Anyway, you can just call me by my virtual nick, cockroach!

My god, why did you chose such a ………..nick ?

Because I want to let people know, that cockroaches are not scary after all. They are ugly and disgusting on the outside and looks, but they are actually very kind, gentle and beautiful on the inside one. (Talking about myself haha and tell you a secret, I’M VERY AFRAID OF COCKROACHES ! )

So what kind of a person are you ? And why Ms Chor Lor ?

Many words to describe me. Simple Jane, girl living next door, plain looking or even ugly, vain at times, gentle at times, fierce at times, plastic at times, blur at times, stupid at times, like to show off at times, very dao geh* at times and lots more……..

Ms Chor Lor because I hardly wear skirts and I don’t wear makeup, partly also because I ride bike, cannot wear skirts. Then sometimes very chor lor, such as burbing loud, laughing loud, talking loud, open mouth close mouth lots of broken Singlish or vulgarities and also very domineering or tyrant at times haha.

Wow, so you ride a bike ?

Yup, was riding a phantom for 5 years. Then now change to a cute small pinky purplish scooter! See it here! Cheap and convenient transport for me to go anywhere, anytime. And also no people will stare at me, gossip about me or guess if I’m a Trans or not if I’m taking public transport.

Why do you want to Blog when there’s already millions of Blogs out there ?

Because being a Transgender, certain things that I blog are different from what others may be blogging. They may not have face the kind of life that we went through, so hopefully to let people have a better understanding of us Transgender and to see life in the perspective at a different angle. I don’t seek sympathy from people. I just seek acceptance and understanding.

Why is your English so bad and with so many Singlish some more ?

Because I got “N” levels. I also got “O” levels. Put them together, I got “NO” levels. I only completed Primary school. I didn’t have a proper and higher education like many. But my English quite not bad liao mah…..

So what are your ultimate aims of this blog ?

To gain more exposures, let people understand Transgender more, have lots of readers and followers and hopefully one day climb into the hall of fames.

So where can we find or see you ? Why is there not a single photo of yourself ?

I think that’s difficult. Cause I very low profile, I may just walk past you without you knowing. But if I open my mouth, maybe you will then hear why my voice weird weird one. I always try not to let people know I’m a trans. But if you know, no big deal to me also lah. Even if I were to put up photos of myself, I will make sure you can’t recognise me from outside if you see me.

I never have a Trans friend before and I’m curious about you people, so how can I get to know you better further ?

Follow my blog, or drop me a MESSAGE. But don’t think you will get to see me in person unless I feel you are safe.

Actually your blog is kind of boring, don’t think it will attract much readers.

I will still carry on blogging. It is now my passion, my everyday chore. There will be people who will read and there will be people who finds it sucks. I can’t satisfy all. After all, this is my own personal space and lifestyle, I welcome anyone and I won’t drive off anyone.
